Applies to: replacement filter kit part numbers for South-Tek commercial nitrogen generation systems. Filter kits for South-Tek industrial nitrogen generators are not standardized across all models and configurations, and are quoted against the serial number — see the last section.
Three ways to get the right kit
- Ask the machine, if it can tell you. On the FPS-10000, FPS-16500 and FPS-22500, go to Maintenance → Filters. That screen shows the FRP kit number for the machine in front of you, the individual filter numbers, and the date the filters were last changed. Use that kit number — it is specific to your unit. The tables below are for ordering ahead.
- Find your model in the tables below. Check the model plate rather than going from memory — several families have models that differ by a suffix, and the suffix changes the kit.
- On the FPS-3250 and above, check the filter housing build as well. Those models appear on two rows, one for the black build and one for the light build, and they take different kits. Look at the machine, not the paperwork.
- If your model is not listed, or you are not sure, ask us. Have the model and serial number ready. Guessing from a similar model number is how the wrong elements get ordered.
Some short model numbers appear in more than one product line A bare number such as 400, or 100, 200, appears in more than one section of this page — the beverage line and MIC Blast both use short model numbers, and FPS-3000 is both a fire protection model and a MIC Blast model. Match on the product line first, then the model. Suffixes matter inside a line too — beverage 400 and beverage 400 Plus take different kits. If two rows in different sections could both describe your machine, or you cannot tell which suffix you have, send us the serial number instead of choosing one. (Models that appear on two rows of the same table because of the filter housing build are a different case — those are resolved by the bowl build, below.)
Where a model has its own article, that article governs Several models have their own filter replacement or preventive maintenance article, linked in the tables below. Those articles are maintained alongside the equipment, so if one of them disagrees with this page, follow the model article and tell South-Tek Systems Service so this page can be corrected.

Black bowls or grey bowls — which build do you have? Two filter housing builds are in the field on the FPS-3250, 5000, 10000, 16500 and 22500, and they take different kits. On the FPS-10000, 16500 and 22500 there is a physical test that beats judging color on a machine that has been in a mechanical room for years: black bodies have a release clip on the bowls, grey bodies do not. Confirm which build you have before ordering.
The light build is called white on the FPS-3250 and FPS-5000 and grey on the FPS-10000, FPS-16500 and FPS-22500. Both mean "not the black build". If you cannot tell which one you are looking at, send us the serial number rather than ordering on a guess.

FPS-12000, 15000, 18000 and 20000 are listed with one kit only Those four models appear against FRP-006 with no second build listed. If the machine in front of you has grey filter bowls, contact South-Tek Systems with the serial number before ordering rather than assuming FRP-006.

The 14KPH-HO does not take the same kit as the 14KPH The 14KPH-HO (High Output) takes FRP-005, not the FRP-001 that the 14KPH takes. It has two integrated air compressors, each with its own air intake pre-filter, and both pre-filters are replaced at every service interval. Check the model plate for the HO suffix before ordering.

Three TL models do not follow the rest of the line The TL-450 and TL-1050, in both standard and Plus builds, take FRP-007 annually or every 1,000 hours, whichever comes first. The TL-1825 takes FRP-1-1 on staggered intervals; the TL-1725 has no standard kit; and the TL-2625 kit is under review. Contact South-Tek Systems for those last two rather than assuming they take FRP-007.
Industrial nitrogen generators
This article applies to commercial systems only. Filter kits for South-Tek industrial nitrogen generators are not standardized across all models and configurations. To identify and quote the correct industrial filter kit, South-Tek requires the serial number of the nitrogen generator.
Some industrial lines do document their kit in their own maintenance article — the N2-GEN CPi and CPx series, the CPi-Plus and CPx-Plus series, and the N2GEN-FLEX series all do. Note that on the CPx and CPx-Plus the kit depends on which filter housing build the machine has, the same way it does on the larger FPS models. Start with your line's article, and have the serial number ready either way.

Need a quote, or do not see your system listed? Have the model and serial number ready, and on the FPS-3250, 5000, 10000, 16500 and 22500, whether the filter bowls are the black build or the light build — the light one is called white on the FPS-3250 and FPS-5000 and grey on the FPS-10000, FPS-16500 and FPS-22500.
