This article applies to South-Tek Systems industrial N2-GEN TS, CS, and S series PSA nitrogen generators.
The N2-GEN TS, CS, and S series generators are designed to produce nitrogen on demand using Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology. These systems are engineered as turnkey nitrogen generation packages and are individually tuned, tested, and certified to meet the required nitrogen flow rate and purity for the application.
Who this article is for
This content is intended for installers, equipment operators, and supervisory personnel responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of the system.
How the system works
These generators use carbon molecular sieve (CMS) and alternating adsorption beds to separate nitrogen from compressed air. Clean, dry compressed air passes through the system, and the generator produces nitrogen to the connected storage tank based on the system’s programmed operating logic.
Typical system features
- Programmable logic controller (PLC) with touchscreen interface
- Pressure swing adsorption beds
- Nitrogen storage pressure monitoring
- Safety relief valves
- Nitrogen storage tank
- Incoming air filtration and regulation on applicable models
General specifications
- Nitrogen purity: 95% to 99.999% depending on design
- Installation style: Floor standing, skid mounted
- Display: 3.5" full touchscreen
- Nitrogen storage pressure: 70 to 110 PSIG standard
- Electrical: 110 to 220 VAC, 1 phase, 50/60 Hz, less than 2 operating amps
- Ambient temperature: 40°F to 100°F
Before you begin
Before operating the generator, review the site requirements, installation guidance, startup procedures, safety information, and maintenance requirements for your specific system. Deviations from the required air, electrical, and installation conditions may affect generator performance and may void warranty coverage.
