The N2-GEN™ HPC Deployable (HPCD) is a self-contained, portable high-pressure nitrogen cylinder filling station enclosed in a hard-shell protective case. It generates nitrogen on demand and boosts it to fill high-pressure cylinders, eliminating the need for frequent cylinder delivery and reducing operating costs. The system requires only a single electrical connection for operation.
System Overview
The HPCD integrates all equipment necessary for high-pressure nitrogen cylinder filling into a single rugged case. Nitrogen is generated using a membrane separation process and then boosted to cylinder fill pressures using an integrated high-pressure booster. The system supports two fill pressure modes — 2200 PSIG and 3500 PSIG — selected via a ball valve on the control panel.
The case includes wheels and fork pockets for repositioning and transport. All high-pressure hoses, the electrical cable, and product documentation are stored in a top compartment on the unit.
Key Components
The HPCD consists of the following integrated subsystems:
Oil-Less Air Compressors (×2): Provide the compressed air supply for the membrane nitrogen generator. No external air source is required.
Air Treatment System: Filters and conditions the compressed air before it enters the membrane generator. Includes inlet air filters (F0), a particulate filter (F1), and a coalescing filter (F2).
Membrane Nitrogen Generator: Separates nitrogen from compressed air using hollow-fiber membrane technology. Produces nitrogen at up to 99% purity.
Integrated High-Pressure Booster: Boosts nitrogen pressure from the generator output up to the selected cylinder fill pressure (2200 or 3500 PSIG).
Cylinder Connection System: High-pressure hoses and CGA fittings connect the booster output to the cylinder being filled. The appropriate CGA fitting for your application is specified on your unit specification sheet.
Hard-Shell Protective Case: Encloses all components for transport and deployment. Six ventilation ports on the case must be opened before operation to prevent overheating.
Control Panel Components
The control panel is located on the hardcase and is accessed by opening the hinged cover labeled "Operation, Service and Alarm Indicators."
