This article applies to South-Tek Systems industrial N2GEN-FLEX series PSA nitrogen generators.
Routine preventive maintenance helps keep the system operating reliably, protects nitrogen purity performance, and reduces the risk of unplanned downtime. This article provides a general overview of how maintenance is tracked on N2GEN-FLEX systems, the standard preventive maintenance cycle, and the standard replacement parts typically required by maintenance year.
Maintenance overview
N2GEN-FLEX systems include maintenance tracking through the touchscreen interface. Proper maintenance helps support maximum system life and reliable operation.
Preventive maintenance reminders are typically programmed at six-month intervals. Standard preventive maintenance parts are organized by maintenance year, and the cycle repeats after Year 5.
How maintenance is tracked
The Maintenance screen on the touchscreen displays the main counters used to track service intervals.
- Total running hours
- Time before next scheduled maintenance
- Filter usage
Maintenance and filter replacement counters should only be reset after the required service has been completed by authorized personnel.
Standard preventive maintenance cycle
N2GEN-FLEX systems use a standard preventive maintenance parts schedule by model family. For standard preventive maintenance parts requests, serial number is not required.
When requesting standard preventive maintenance parts, provide the model and the maintenance year or cycle needed.

After Year 5
After Year 5, the standard preventive maintenance cycle repeats. When requesting parts or planning service after the first five years, reference the maintenance year that matches the next cycle due.
What to provide when requesting maintenance parts
For standard N2GEN-FLEX preventive maintenance parts, provide the following:
- System model
- Maintenance year or cycle due
- Requested service timing, if onsite service is needed
Serial number is not required for standard preventive maintenance parts on the N2GEN-FLEX model family. If the system has non-standard options, abnormal alarms, damage, or suspected component failure, additional information may be needed.
When additional parts may be required
This article covers the standard preventive maintenance schedule only. Additional parts may be required if the system has abnormal wear, active alarms, leakage, sensor issues, or other operating problems identified during inspection or service.
Important reminder
Do not adjust valves, regulators, analyzer settings, calibration values, or PLC settings without consulting South-Tek Systems. Maintenance counters and filter counters should only be reset after the required service has been completed.
