Regular oil analysis is an important part of maintaining the reliability and warranty coverage of your South-Tek rotary screw compressor.
This article explains when oil samples are required, how to submit them, and where to get help.
Why Oil Sampling Is Required
Oil analysis helps identify early signs of wear, contamination, or lubricant degradation before they lead to larger equipment issues.
For South-Tek rotary screw compressors, oil samples must be submitted:
- Every 2,000 run hours, or
- Every 6 months,
- Whichever comes first
Failure to provide required oil samples may void warranty coverage.
What You Need
Oil samples must be submitted using the South-Tek Oil Sample Kit.
The kit includes:
- Sample bottle

Optional: Oil Sampling Pump
For easier and cleaner sampling, customers may also purchase an Oil Sampling Pump with their oil sample kit.
